Olivia Lee joined Kaufman Legal Group as a Political Accounts Supervisor in December of 2014. Olivia works with candidates, elected officials, political committees, and non-profits to ensure compliance with federal, state and local campaign finance laws.
Previously, Olivia served as a Field Representative for Assembly Members Ed Chau and Mike Eng in California’s 49th Assembly District, during which she acted as liaison to the cities of Arcadia, San Marino, Rosemead, San Gabriel, and Temple City. She also served as point person on various women's issues, Asian Pacific Islander American issues, and on water, environment, small business, and health issues. Olivia was also a lead organizer for the California Democratic Party’s “Operation Game Changer,” a targeted field program to increase permanent vote-by-mail voter sign-up and Democratic voter turnout in Los Angeles County.
As an activist for nearly 15 years, Olivia currently serves as Rules Committee Co-Chair of the California Democratic Party Asian Pacific Islander Caucus and Regional Vice Chair and 55th Assembly District Delegation Chair of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party. Previously, she served as Communications Chair of Asian Professional Exchange-APEX and Vice Chair of Legislative Affairs of the University of California Student Association. She has been involved with numerous statewide, legislative, and local electoral campaigns.
A first generation American and a San Gabriel Valley native, Olivia earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine.
